The project European Centre for Press and Media Freedom aims to protect and promote media freedom and promote transnational public debate on press freedom violations across Europe.
The aim is to gather and publish relevant information on media financing through analytical reports, educational articles and promotional campaigns and to involve representatives of state institutions, the media and non-governmental organizations as well as media and financial experts and analysts through consultative meetings.
"Media and War" project was initiated to mark 20 years from beginning of war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Goal of the project is to encourage war reporting analysis by regional journalists, media professionals and analysts.
New training program, organized by Mediacentar Sarajevo, European Journalism Center and International Press Institute, focuses on data journalism and is aimed at journalism students and young journalists.
