Minel Abaz has been a project assistant at Mediacentar since August 2025. Before joining the Mediacentar team, he worked as a researcher at the fact-checking platform Istinomjer, a project officer at the Network for Building Peace, and a project assistant at Save the Children. He writes and publishes on the portals Analiziraj, Prometej, and Izvan Svake Kontrole (ISK). He is an alumnus of the Euro-Atlantic Summer Academy in Warsaw (WEASA) and the Humanity in Action summer program. He is the recipient of the 2022 UNICEF BiH Journalist Award for his contribution to children's rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
